Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD, in collaboration with Northwest ISD, Keller ISD, Birdville ISD, Aledo ISD, White Settlement ISD, Mansfield ISD, Decatur ISD, Azle ISD, and Lake Worth ISD proudly announces the 2nd Annual North Texas Military Night, a regional event designed to help students and families explore post-graduation military and service-related opportunities.
Open to all North Texas students in grades 7–12, Military Night provides direct access to representatives from multiple branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, service academies, and university-based ROTC programs. The event aims to increase awareness of military pathways and ensure families have the information they need to make confident, informed decisions about future service or academy preparation.
.Attendees will have the opportunity to:
· Meet recruiters from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Texas National Guard, and other military institutions.
· Connect with representatives from the U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, The Citadel, and additional service academies.
· Learn about university-level ROTC programs, including those from Baylor University, TCU, Tarleton State University, The University of Texas at Arlington and Texas A&M.
· Explore enlistment options, career pathways, and scholarship opportunities.
· Attend 20-minute breakout sessions, led by military and ROTC representatives, offering focused and informative overviews in a quieter, more personal setting.
· Participate in a parent-focused Q&A featuring parents of past enlistees who will share insights and guidance on supporting students through the enlistment or academy application process.
“Military pathways play a vital role in the broader college, career, and military readiness landscape. Events like Military Night help students discover opportunities they may not have known existed and allow families to understand the full range of benefits, career options, and educational advantages tied to military service.” — Dr. John Fahey, Director of CCMR, Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD
